Industry first: transitioning towards more sustainable farming

An exciting first for the UK sugar beet industry was launched in Spring 2026 through British Sugar’s partnership with the Soil Association Exchange.

This initiative has been designed to directly support growers in their transition toward more sustainable farming, giving them both the tools and financial incentives to make meaningful changes on farm.
