Sugar beet campaign start dates announced for 2023/24

We are pleased to share the start dates for the 2023/24 sugar beet campaign at each of British Sugar’s four factories:

Bury St Edmunds        4 September

Newark                     11 September

Wissington                21 September 

Cantley                     9 October

Sugar beet growers, hauliers and industry partners have been advised of beet intake times at the factories by email and via our online portal, My British Sugar.

Growers and industry partners can get in touch with their British Sugar Account Manager or the British Sugar Farm Support Team if they have any queries, at this stage or as campaign progresses.

British Sugar Agriculture Director Dan Green said, “We look forward to working with growers, harvesters and hauliers over the 2023/24 season, and wish everyone across the British beet sugar industry all the best for a safe and successful campaign.”
