As part of Newark Factory’s Maintenance Development we have exciting opportunities for a maintenance planner and a maintenance scheduler for the site. During operations, the planners will work with factory teams/technicians to take maintenance requests (including via the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)) and develop detailed work scopes and maintenance plans. In non operating periods detailed plans will be developed encompassing best practice maintenance techniques as well as key statutory and mandatory requirements

The role of the scheduler will be to take the plans and match them to the available resources and services via computerised scheduling tools.

Successful planners will need to have had appreciable experience of maintenance activities within the factory, whilst schedulers need to have a sound working knowledge of maintenance activities.

The salary and grade for these roles will be commensurate with previous experience and skills.
