Why use moisture resistant sugar?
Ordinary sugars dissolve into the surface of cakes:

Moisture resistant sugar, with a particle size similar to that of caster sugar or extra fine sugar will not dissolve, owing to a coating of a newly formulated, healthy, non-hydrogenated fat.
MR sugar will retain its texture and visual impact on the surface, making products more attractive to consumers at point of sale and when served.
Not only does MR Sugar outlive ordinary sugar, it has the clean taste of sugar with none of the cloying aftertastes often associated with alternatives such as dusting powders.
Simple to use, MR Sugar is free-flowing and dust-free. It can be simply sprinkled on to the surface of warm or cold cakes and it will stay there to give a freshly produced appearance that is appealing to the consumer.
