TOPSOIL smashes the 100,000 tonnes per year barrier

British Sugar’s TOPSOIL sales achieved 130,000 tonnes in 2003 - a 28% increase year-on-year. This increase is the highest the business has recorded in a five-year period of non-stop continuous growth and confirms its position as the UK’s largest supplier of topsoil.

Andy Spetch, TOPSOIL business manager, said “Naturally we’re delighted with this success; a significant proportion of this growth has come from repeat business which confirms our belief that we’re producing the best quality product in the country.
