British Sugar in the community

All of British Sugar's sponsorship and charitable funds are allocated to its employee matching programme, "Money Match".

Under this scheme, money raised by employees for a charity of their choice is matched pound for pound by the company, thereby doubling the value of the donation to the beneficiary, at the same time encouraging employee involvement in the community. The company makes no grants or donations, nor does it sponsor organisations or individuals.

Policy and Guidelines

• All funds are allocated to British Sugar's employee matching scheme, 'Money Match'
• The company does not provide funds for political or profit making organisations.
• The company does not take charity advertising as this is not considered to be an efficient means of managing its budgets.
• The company specifically excludes the support of individuals.
